Terms & Conditions
By using OUCAB, you agree to follow these terms, the applicable policy pages, and all local laws that apply to your ride, payment, and behavior during the trip.
These Terms work together with our Cancellation Policy, Refund Policy, Luggage Policy, and Privacy Policy. Please read them together before completing a booking.
Section
Acceptance and eligibility
You may use the service only if you can form a legally binding contract and agree to follow the platform rules.
By creating an account, logging in, or booking a ride, you confirm that the information you provide is accurate and that you are permitted to use the service under applicable law.
- You must provide accurate name, phone number, pickup information, and payment details.
- You are responsible for all activity carried out through your account unless you report unauthorized use promptly.
- We may require age or identity verification for certain ride types or for safety and fraud prevention.
Section
Platform role and availability
OUCAB operates a technology platform that helps riders connect with independent driver-partners and, in some cases, OUCAB-managed fleet vehicles.
OUCAB provides software, dispatch, payment facilitation, and support tools. We do not guarantee that a driver will always be available at the exact time or location you request, and we may suspend or change service features for maintenance, safety, legal, or operational reasons.
- Estimated pickup times are not a guarantee and may change because of traffic, weather, or demand.
- Service availability can differ by city, time of day, vehicle type, and regulatory requirements.
- We may add, remove, or update features without prior notice when necessary for the service.
Section
User responsibilities
Riders must behave lawfully and respectfully, and must use the vehicle in a way that does not endanger people or property.
- Provide the correct pickup point, destination, contact details, and luggage information.
- Be ready on time, wear seat belts where available, and follow the driver's lawful safety instructions.
- Do not smoke, damage the vehicle, harass the driver, or use the ride for illegal activity.
- Do not attempt to subvert payment, abuse promotions, create fake bookings, or misuse the support system.
- Keep children safe and use child restraints where required by local law or vehicle type.
If a rider's conduct creates a safety risk, the driver may end the trip and report the incident to support.
Section
Pricing and payment terms
You agree to pay the applicable fare, tolls, waiting charges, extra stops, taxes, and any other charges shown or lawfully incurred during the ride.
Fare estimates are shown before booking whenever possible. Final charges can change if you alter the route, request extra waiting time, add stops, or if tolls, parking, or other permitted charges are incurred during the trip.
- OUCAB may facilitate payment as a collection agent for the driver-partner or OUCAB-managed service provider.
- Payments may be charged to your selected card, UPI method, wallet, or other supported method.
- You are responsible for keeping your payment details valid and for any failed payment attempts that occur through your account.
Section
Suspension, termination, and liability
We may suspend access where needed to protect riders, driver-partners, the platform, or the law.
We may suspend or terminate an account immediately if we detect fraud, repeated cancellation abuse, abusive behavior, unsafe conduct, chargeback abuse, policy breaches, or legal requests that require action.
- The service is provided on an as-is and as-available basis to the maximum extent allowed by law.
- We are not liable for traffic delays, weather disruptions, road closures, third-party driver conduct, or force majeure events beyond our reasonable control.
- To the extent permitted by law, OUCAB's total liability for a ride-related claim will not exceed the amount you paid for the affected ride.
- You agree to indemnify OUCAB for losses caused by your unlawful use of the service, your breach of these terms, or your misuse of the account.
If you do not agree with a policy update or service change, your sole remedy may be to stop using the service and close your account, subject to any outstanding obligations.
